The Bank of Kentucky Field (Football, Soccer, Track & Field)
The first phase of The Bank of Kentucky Field was completed in 2008 in time for the beginning of soccer and football season. The renovations included a new FieldTurf playing surface and scoreboard.
FieldTurf is a synthetic artificial turf that looks like real grass and is safer then the old fashion artificial turf. The Bank of Kentucky playing surface is lined for both football and soccer.
Prior to the 2009 academic year, a brand-new state-of-the-art
track was installed at The Bank of Kentucky Field.
The track is a blue TUFLITE Synthetic Surface that was installed by
United Sports Systems out of Wichita, Kansas. The TUFLITE
Synthetic Surface is used by various National Football League (NFL)
teams, high schools, colleges and United States Military
bases. The Bank of Kentucky Field track is the only TUFLITE
surface track in the Tri-State area. The track is a 400-meter,
eight lane track with a steeple chase, long/triple jump and pole
vault pits.
No pets are allowed in The Bank of Kentucky Field.
