Jamie Doxsey is entering his seventh year working as an assistant coach at Thomas More College and will be working with the outfielders in 2017.
Doxsey, a Cincinnati, Ohio native came to Thomas More after coaching the previous 12 years at the high school level, most recently as the head coach at Walnut Hills High School from 2008-2010. While at Walnut Hills, his teams accomplished many milestones, including first league win, first Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament win and an above .500 record in just two season. Prior to Walnut Hills, Doxsey was an assistant to Oak Hills High School, Purcell Marian High School and St. Xavier High School.
Coach Doxsey is a 1993 graduate of St. Xavier High School, where he was a three-year letter winner in both football and baseball. As a senior at St. Xavier he was a first team G.C.L., All-City and All-Southwest District and was also an All-State selection. He then went to Northern Kentucky University where he earned his B.S. in Economics and minor in Business Administration. At NKU he was a three-year letter for the late Coach Bill Aker and was honorable mention All-League at shortstop and outfield.
Doxsey resides in Cheviot, Ohio with his wife, Julie, and their two sons, Carson and Griffin, and daughter Courtney.
