(GREENVILLE, Pa.) – Thomas More College junior guard Damion King (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week today (Monday, January 22, 2018) by the PAC office.
King and the Saints posted a 2-0 record last week to claim the top spot in the league standings. He finished the week averaging 17.0 points, 6.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from the floor and 92.3 percent (12-of-13) from the free throw line. In Wednesday's win over Saint Vincent College, King led the Saints with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He followed that up with a 16-point, five assist and three rebound effort Saturday against Grove City College.
Thomas More returns to action on Wednesday (January 24) when it travels to Greenville, Pennsylvania to play Thiel College at 7:30 p.m.
