(DAYTON, Ohio) – The Thomas More College men's bowling team finished 17th this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13, 2016) at the Roto Grip Raider Classic hosted by Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
The Saints had 7,961 points in the tournament as they had 4,187 during regulation games and 3,774 in Baker games.
In regulation play, Thomas More was led by first-year Jake Farley (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands), who had a 194 average with a game-high 202 in game one. First-year Jacob Lawson (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) averaged 168 with a game-high 181 in game three, senior Jimmy Kelley (California, Ky./Bishop Brossart) had a 166 average with a game-high 182 in game two, first-year Austin Crone (Florence, Ky./Simon Kenton) bowled a 160 average with a game-high 197 in game four and first-year Jonathan Frommeyer (Hebron, Ky./Conner) had a 150 average with a game-high 168 in game two.
In Baker games, the Saints had a 189 average in the five four-game blocks.
Thomas More returns to action on November 19 and 20 when it competes at the Striking Knight Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
