Thomas More Bowling Competes at Western Shootout

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – The Thomas More College men's bowling team finished 41st this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22, 2017) at the Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Saints had 6,845 points in the tournament as they had 4,584 during regulation games and 2,261 in the Baker games.

In regulation play, Thomas More was led by sophomore Austin Crone (Florence, Ky./Simon Kenton), who had a 169 average with a game-high 207 in game one.  Sophomore Jake Farley (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands) had a 168 average with a game-high 185 in game three, first-year Spencer Becknell (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) had a 159 average with a game-high 207 in game two, sophomore Jonathan Frommeyer (Hebron, Ky./Conner) had a 148 average with a game-high 177 in game two and first-year Jordan Robbins (Dayton, Ky./Dayton) had a 120 average with a game-high 138 in game five.

In Baker games, the Saints had a 151 average in the three five-game blocks.

Thomas More returns to action on November 111 and 12 when it competes at the Roto Grip Raider Classic hosted by Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
