Thomas More Leads Earlham Spring Invitational

(RICHMOND, Ind.) – The Thomas More College men's golf team shot a first round 310 today (Friday, April 14, 2017) and is in first place at the Earlham College Spring Invitational at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana.

Junior Carter Hibbard (Florence, Ky./Boone County) leads the individual standings with a 71.  Senior Jimmy Kelley (California, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is tied for third with a 74.  Rounding out the Saints' scores was sophomore Matt Striegel (Cold Springs, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) tied for 12th with an 81, first-year Kyle Alexander (Taylorsville, Ky./Spencer County) is tied for 19th with an 84 and first-year Zack Baynum (California, Ky./Campbell County) is tied for 27th with an 86.

Senior Darron Hampton (Maysville, Ky./Mason County) competed as an individual and is tied for eighth with a 78.

The Saints will concluded the Earlham Spring Invitational tomorrow with the final 18-holes at Forest Hills Country Club.
