Thomas More Competes at Karl Power Invitational

(HARRISON, Ohio) – The Thomas More College men's golf team competed in the first two rounds of the Karl Power Individual Invitational today (Saturday, September 2, 2017) at the Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course in Harrison, Ohio.

Sophomore Kyle Alexander (Taylorsville, Ky./Spencer County) led the Saints as he is in second place with a 148 (74-74).  Two other Saints are in the Top-5 as senior Carter Hibbard (Florence, Ky./Boone County) is tied for third with a 149 (79-70) and sophomore Zack Baynum (California, Ky./Campbell County) is tied for third with a 149 (75-74).

Junior Matt Striegel (Cold Springs, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) is in sixth place with a 153 (78-75), first-year Nick Drake (Bowling Green, Ky./South Warren) is in seventh with a 162 (84-78) and sophomore Jacob Zai (Cold Spring, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is in ninth with a 165 (86-79).   Rounding out the Saints' golfers were first-year Robby Case IV (Crestview Hills, Ky./Covington Latin) in 12th with a 176 (93-83), first-year Kyle Redden (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) is in 13th with a 181 (95-86) and sophomore Blake Baioni (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) is in 14th with a 187 (93-94).

The final round of the Karl Power Invitational gets underway at 8 a.m. tomorrow at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course.
