Men's Tennis Concludes Fall Season With 9-0 Win Over Miami-Middletown

(PARK HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More College men's tennis team improved to 2-1 in the season defeating Miami-Middletown.

In singles competition, Jeffrey Schenk shut out his opponent, Noah Kappers, 6-0, 6-0. Derrick Kwok defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-4, and Alex Traylor won 6-3, 6-3. Wesley Smith only lost three games against Will Cummins, winning 6-0, 6-3 and Logan Daniels only lost two games winning 6-0, 6-2. Gunnar Wasson won by forfeit.

In doubles competition, D. Kwok and Brandon Kwok defeated Kappers and Antonio Williams, 8-1. Similarily, Sheldon Preisler and Michael Schwarz defeated Dalton Campbell and Will Cummins 8-1. Johann Pybus and Kendal Johnson won off of forfeit.

The men's tennis team will be back in action in the Spring, on Feb. 9, taking on Northern Kentucky University.
