Men's Cross Country Wins Wilmington Tri-Meet

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Thomas More College men's cross country team won the Wilmington College tri-meet today (Thursday, September 7, 2017) as it defeated Wilmington and Notre Dame (Ohio) College in Wilmington, Ohio.

Junior Ross Klocke (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) won the race with a time of 16:42.79.  Two other Saints finished in the Top-5 as Junior Michael Campbell (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) was second with a time of 16:44.28 and sophomore Oscar Ramirez (Florence, Ky./Ryle) was fourth with a time of 17:05.26.

Sophomore Ronny Smith (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished eighth with a time of 17:37.04, first-year Max Sellers (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota East) was 10th with a time of 17:53.90, senior Brandon West (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) was 11th with a time of 17:55.70 and junior Josh Pusateri (Washington, Pa./Trinity) was 20th with a time of 19:03.96.

The Saints return to action on September 15 when they travel to South Bend, Indiana to compete at the 39th Annual National Catholic Invitational.
