Women's Soccer Ends in 0-0 Draw Against Kenyon

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – Thomas More College women's soccer took on the Kenyon Ladies today, Saturday Sept. 16. The match ended in a tie, 0-0 through two overtimes. With the tie, the Saints move to 4-1-1 and Kenyon 1-4-1.

Thomas More ended the match with 22 shots overall, four of which came in the second overtime alone. The competition was evenly matched, Thomas More with six saves, Kenyon with nine. First-yearAshley Maples had the most attempts at a goal for the Saints with six shots, sophomore Olivia Nienaber and first-year Abby Hutcheson not far behind her with four each.

Sophomore Aleyna Heyman played all 110 minutes, recording six saves and another shut-out.

Thomas More soccer is back in action at home against Ohio Northern. Match is set to start at 1:00 PM.
