B.J. Pheasant is in his first season as an assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach at Thomas More College.
Pheasant came to Crestview Hills from Manchester University, where he was the assistant women’s coach at Manchester University. Prior to Manchester, he served as an associate women’s head coach at Concordia University Chicago from the summer of 2011 to June 2015; an assistant and goalkeeper coach for the women’s program at Franklin College from 2010-11; as well as handling technical goalkeeper training duties for men and women at the Indiana Olympic Development Program from 2011-12, head coaching roles of various age-level girls teams at the Columbus (Ind.) Express Club where his U16 team won the Indiana state title in 2011, and the director of coaching title for the North West Soccer Club of Lafayette, Ind., in 2004-07. Pheasant has a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National Coaching Diploma (USSFB) and Advanced National Goalkeeping Coach Diploma.
Pheasant gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University in May 2002; an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture Economics from Purdue University in May 2002; a Master of Science in Athletic Administration and Sport Management from Indiana University – Bloomington in August 2009; and is pursuing an MBA in Leadership and Change Management from Concordia University Chicago.
